The Trico lines of well servicing tools has been manufactured by Topco since 1999. These overhead lifting products were re-engineered to meet higher service demands and extreme weather conditions. The Trico line is manufactured to meet or exceed API 8C specifications. An extensive quality control program ensures that Trico well servicing tools will be dimensionally within tolerance, critical wear areas will be checked and equipment will surpass pull tests to 1.5 times suggested load capacity. Trico Super Lift Elevators have been designed and engineered using the decade's long experience of the Trico brand. To prove out the resulting design, prototype Super Lift Elevators underwent tension-to-failure testing. The result, Elevators with a maximum working Load of 50,000 pounds (25 short tons) and minimum operating temperature of -4 F (-20° C).
Super Lift Elevators are assembled in North America using only North American sourced components. All new elevators are proof load tested at 1.5 x their working load rating, non destructively inspected, and functionally tested.
The Topco Rod Spinner was engineered as a safety device to handle the release of sucker rod energy when a Progressive Cavity Pump is unseated. It reduces the risk of danger to the crew as well as preventing surface equipment from being damaged. It has been designed for efficiency to quick connect to a Rod Clevis on most energy service rigs, flushbys and rod rigs. It has a load rating of 50,000 lb allowing the Rod Spinner to be used to pull on both sucker and polish rods.HEAVY LIFT 25 TON ROD ELEVATOR
Trico Rod Hooks are designed for operating speed and safety. They feature a special snap-in latch mechanism which permits the elevator bail to enter the hook opening without the latch being released by the operator. When the bail is engaged the hook spring automatically forces the latch to a locked position, holding the elevator secure until released. The latch spring is enclosed in a housing to prevent fouling. Trico Rod Hooks are made of high-grade steel, heat treated for toughness.
The Trico Snap-In Spring Lift Rod Hook has an extra long shank containing a heavy coil spring which supports the section of rods being pulled. The spring protects the rod threads while the rods are being removed from the tubing. The additional weight of this hook assists in unspooling the line from the pulling unit.HEAVY LIFT 25 TON ROD HOOK
The Trico snap-action Rod Buster Sucker Rod Wrench is made of high-grade alloy steel, hardened to resist wear. This lightweight (6 lb.) rugged tool is excellent for manual makeup and breakout of sucker rod joints. It features a counterbalanced grip to reduce fatigue. The cross-section of the handle is oval which provides a natural resistance to the wrench spinning when gripped. The head is spring-loaded and a hardened steel bushing is provided between the wrench head and handle.
The Trico Sucker Rod Spin Wrench is a one piece tool manufactured from high tensile strength alloy steel. The wrench opening fits the square on sucker rods and is accurately machined to reduce user fatigue.
The Trico Combination Tap and Die Set is a handy on-the-spot thread chaser for use on all well servicing units. It allows the operator to repair rod threads and couplings in the field by setting correct factory thread pitch and contact area. The tool comes in three models and is made of the highest quality hardening steel to withstand severe service.
The Trico Paraffin knife features a field proven paraffin removing design. It is a rugged, flexible tool available in two sizes.
The Trico Reversible Type Sucker Rod Socket is a combination slip socket for fishing sucker rods, polished rods and sucker rod couplings (except surface-hardened couplings). Each socket is fitted with a reversible slip unit which has reverse wickers in each end. The large ID end of the slips will catch two sizes of couplings, while the opposite end will catch two sizes of rods. Multiple slips are available to catch worn boxes and pins, they will not catch rods.
The Trico Type B Sleeve-Type Sucker Rod Socket is used for fishing rod body breaks and sucker rod couplings. The socket has an upper bowl fitted with rod slips suitable for catching two sizes of rods, and a lower bowl fitted with a single end slip unit designed to engage and catch one size sucker rod coupling. All parts of the Type B socket are interchangeable with O'Bannon.

The socket has an upper bowl fitted with rod slips suitable for catching two sizes of rods, and a lower bowl fitted with a single end slip unit designed to engage and catch one size sucker rod coupling.
The Trico Little Giant Sucker Rod is a combination slip socket used for fishing sucker rod breaks inside tubing. It can also be used inside a working barrel with corresponding size tubing and as a rod splicer for 2 inch tubing.TOPCO TRICO USA PDF MANUAL 25 TON TUBING SPINNER
